Agreement Overview

The terms and conditions presented herein establish the agreement between you and Hook Airport Taxi. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Definitions

2.1 In this agreement, "Hook Airport Taxi," "we," or "us" denotes the service-providing company, while "you" and "your" may refer to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.

Booking

3.1 It is imperative to allocate sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers requiring timely check-ins. We are not liable for delays resulting from your failure to allocate ample time or your unpreparedness at the scheduled collection time. 3.2 You are responsible for selecting a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the accommodation of excessive luggage. Additionally, a child, regardless of age, will be considered a single passenger. 3.3 Those needing wheelchair access should indicate this during the booking process.

Prices & Payment

4.1 Our quoted prices are based on the information provided by you and are exclusive of VAT, where applicable. Material changes to the itinerary may lead to adjustments in the quoted price. 4.2 A 45-minute waiting period after the landing time is included in our quote, along with airport parking costs. Any excess waiting time will incur standard waiting rates. 4.3 Upon accepting a quote, review the booking confirmation promptly to ensure accuracy. Failure to notify Hook Airport Taxi of any discrepancies will absolve us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs. 4.4 Payments can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.

The Service

5.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers. 5.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not permitted in the vehicle. 5.3 Children must be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age. 5.4 We are bound by licensing and insurance limitations on the number of passengers allowed.

Cancellations

6.1 Promptly notify us of any cancellations. Cancellation charges apply if a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, based on the driver's time and distance to the cancellation point. 6.2 Online booking cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.

Liability

7.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business. 7.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk. 7.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative car for the completion of your journey as swiftly as possible. 7.4 You shall not hold Hook Airport Taxi liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any act or omission by anyone in your party. 7.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, as dictated by applicable laws.

Termination

8.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of any vehicle or driver is compromised by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any other passenger. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.

Miscellaneous

9.1 Hook Airport Taxi may subcontract obligations under this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any obligations or rights without our consent. 9.2 Terms and conditions may be altered by Hook Airport Taxi, with changes reflected on this page. Regularly review these terms to stay informed. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates effective at the time of booking. 9.3 Information processing adheres to the Data Protection Act of 1988. 9.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Hook Airport Taxi and yourself. 9.5 These terms do not confer any benefit to a third party unless agreed upon in writing.

Disputes

Any dispute or claim must be raised within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made beyond this timeframe will not be entertained by Hook Airport Taxi.
